It’s tough, but someone’s got to do it, Christmas Cocktails for a perfect party

Purely in the name of research for our customers we have been investigating delicious Christmas cocktails and these are some of our favourites. All beautifully displayed and gorgeous pieces of cocktail artistry. These cocktails are as Christmassy as it comes and perfect for setting your party off to the best possible start!

A timeless and elegant cocktail beautifully garnished with orange and sage

Blood Orange, Sage & Ginger Margaritas


Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh blood orange juice

  • 1 oz. lime juice

  • 2 oz. sage & ginger simple syrup, recipe follows

  • 6 oz. Patrón Silver

  • 4 oz. Triple Sec

  • Salt and lime for rimming the glass


Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail mixing glass or pitcher and stir.

  • Strain in to prepared glasses filled with crushed ice.

  • Garnish with sage leaves and a blood orange slice.

Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktails

Rosé Champagne is topped with fresh candy floss for a beautiful cocktail perfect for a garden party, wedding, or any other special event. The cotton candy will dissolve when it hits the champagne, creating a sweet champagne cocktail (and it looks beautiful too!).

Campfire Cocktails


Ingredients

  • 1 x marshmallow

  • 1tbsp chocolate syrup

  • 1tbsp graham cracker crumbs

  • Ice

  • 1oz vodka

  • 1oz bailys

  • 2oz 2% milk


Instructions

  • Place your marshmallow in a small pan, over a medium heat, and toast until browned.

  • Meanwhile rim a loveball glass with chocolate sauce and dip immediately in the cracker crumbs.

  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, toss in the vodka and baileys and shake vigorously (the longer the better, it should be freezing cold and well mixed).

  • Place 2-3 ice cubes in your glass, pour the liquor mixture over the top and fill the rest of the glass with the milk. Top with the toasted marshmallow and enjoy!

Fresh and so Christmassy. Beautiful pomegranate contrasting with the white of the cocktail.

White Christmas Mojito


Ingredients

  • 1 cup lime juice

  • 1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup white rum

  • 1/2 cup coconut rum

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • sparking water (for topping)

  • mint leaves (for garnish)

  • pomegranate (for garnish)


Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until the leaves have broken down.

  • In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk and pulse until smooth.

  • Pour over the mint/lime/sugar mixture and stir to combine.

  • Chill until ready to serve.

  • To serve, divide ice among glasses and fill halfway with the mojito mix. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with mint leaves & pomegranate.

Gingerbread White Harvest


Ingredients: Gingerbread Syrup

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3 tablespoons molasses

  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Ingredients: Gingerbread Russian

  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) vodka

  • 1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) Kahlua

  • 1-2 ounces (2-4 tablespoons) gingerbread syrup

  • 1-2 ounces (2-4 tablespoons) heavy cream

  • cinnamon sticks and gingerbread cookies, for garnish


Instructions: Gingerbread Syrup

  • In a medium pot, combine 1 1/3 cups water, the honey, molasses, ginger and cinnamon.

  • Bring to a boil over high heat.

  • Boil 3-5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

  • Stir in the vanilla. Let cool.

  • Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


Instructions: Gingerbread Russian

  • Fill a glass with ice.

  • Add the vodka, Kahlua, and gingerbread syrup. Stir gently.

  • Add the heavy cream and stir to combine.

  • Garnish with cinnamon and gingerbread cookies, if desired.

Add a touch of glamour to your Christmas with this deep red delicious cocktail.

Poinsettia Spritz Punch


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup vodka

  • 1 1/2 cups 100% cranberry juice or pomegranate juice

  • 2 ounces St. Germain elderflower liquor

  • 3/4 cup champagne

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

  • slices rosemary and orange for serving.


Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine the vodka, cranberry juice and St. Germain. Chill until ready to serve.

  • When ready to serve, add the champagne and cranberries. Pour among glasses and garnish with rosemary and orange zest/slices.
